Recipe: All-Fruit Ice Pop

I love making these yummy ice pops during the summe time! They are very healthy (fruit, of course!) and so easy to make! You can use any fruit you would like. Feel free to take out fruits or add more fruits. These fruit ice pops are great for a sunny day or the beach!

Ingredients & Steps:

3/4 cup raspberries
3/4 cup chopped strawberries
1/2 cup chotted cantaloupe melon
1/2 cup chunk pineapple
3/4 cup seadless green grapes, cut in halves
1 1/2 to 2 cups apple, white grape, or cranberry juice (check the label for "100% fruit juice")
Wash and cut the fruit as described and place the fruit in interesting patterns into eight 3 oz. popsicle molds. Pour the juice of your choice into each mold to just barely cover the fruit, then place a popsicle stick in the center. Freeze until solid (about six hours).

Earth Day!

I just want to take this time to encourage everyone to take care of our earth. Do something good for the Earth today whether you plant a garden, recycle old newspapers, pick up trash in your neighborhood, or buy a product that has no harsh chemicals or parabens. EVERYONE can make a difference. It doesn't matter your age or where you live YOU can do something to help the earth. Let's not make April 22nd Earth Day, let's make EVERYDAY earth day!  I have been so inspired by Lauren Conrad lately. I absolutely love her natural makeup and her beautiful style.

Many of you might already know this but Lauren Conrad just released one of her new books "The Frame Game." I recently ordered two of Lauren Conrad's books on amazon. I can not wait to read them!

Lauren's style of clothing is so PRETTY! I wish I could dress like her. Lauren Conrad has a new line of Spring 2012 clothes available at Kohl's.

Lauren Conrad is probably most known for her adorable high top knot. I think this hairstyle is super stylish and so easy and quick to do! Definitely  something I will be doing this season!

Last but certainly not least I am loving Lauren Conrad's Style book! It is filled with the best fashion and beauty tips.

Beach Break!

Bathing suits come in so many different colors, patterns, and textures these days! I absolutely love this white and yellow striped bathing suit with the blue detailing on the straps. This bathing suit is perfect for the beach or the pool!

Don't forget to take your favorite pair of sunglasses with you to the beach! I really these leopard printed sunglasses. They are fun and girly! 

 3) Beach Bag!

I love this really fun beach bag! You can seriously get beach bags anywhere these days.The fun colors in this beach bag really makes me want to buy it. I love beach bags because you can literally put everything you need in a cute stylish bag!

4) Fun Sandals!

 

I love these graphic jelly sandals from Aeropostale! These sandals have a fun and colorful pattern which makes them perfect to show off at the beach! 

5) Make-up Bag! 

 

I love this fun and colorful make-up bag! Even if you don't wear make-up when you are at the beach (I don't) this bag still makes it perfect to put all of those odds and ends in. You can use this bag to store hair ties, bobby pins, sunblock, etc. This little pouch has a bold statement to it! 

6) Fun Floral Dress! 

 

I love dresses for the spring and summer! Espically this colorful floral halter dress from Aeropostale.The colors on this dress are super pretty! The color scheme makes it perfect for the long beach days! 

7) Colored Denim Shorts! 

 

I am loving colored denim shorts for the spring! They are so colorful, comfortable, and fun to wear. You could easily slip these denim shorts over your bathing suit or wear them with a fun T-shirt and cute shoes.So many different looks with these colored denim shorts! 

8) A fun T-Shirt! 

I think this is such a cute and fun T-shirt for the beach! The colors and style is super adorable! You will be sure to get many compliments!

DIY: 5-Strand Headbands!

I absolutely love these 5-Strand Headbands! They are so simple and easy to make. I will definitely be wearing these headbands for the spring and summer season. The best part is you can have a different headband for every outfit. All you need is an old T-shirt, scissors, needle, and thread. It is really that easy. Mini Review: Satin Care Shaving Cream

I use the Satin Care Shaving Cream in my shower everyday. This shaving cream is super moisturizing and is affordable. Each shaving cream is different for your different skin type. So you are guaranteed to find one that works for you. I personally like to use the Sensitive skin one because it prevents against nicks and cuts. When I have tried using other shaving creams they were too thick or gave me razor bumps. Using the Satin Care shaving cream has gave me my confidence back and my legs are smoother than ever before. I usually pick this product up at Target for around $2.50. I would highly suggest this shaving cream to anyone. This product has been a great addition to my shower.

I have recently tried out a new product by Clean and Clear. Many of you have heard about the Clean and Clear Morning Burst Body Wash. Best Hair Secrets

Here are a few of my favorite hair secrets:

1. Eat lots of fish and nuts for healthy hair. They are filled with nurtrients and lots of protien.

2. Protect shine with luke warm water. The hot water can damage your hair.

3. Skip the heat (blow dryers, curling irons, straighteners, etc) it can really damage your hair and leave you with split ends.

4. Brush your hair less to limit the amount of hair loss.

5. Avoid extreme color changes. These chemicals can damage your hair.

6. Protect your hair from the sun. Too much sun exposer to the sun can damage your hair and dry it out.

7. Avoid chlorine damage by rinsing your hair before entering the pool.

8. Keep brushes away from curly hair. Your hair can break and become more dry and brittle.

Acne Treatment for Teens

Here are a few simple tips to help clear up that acne you may have:

1. Wash your face at least 2 times a day to remove any oils and dirt from your pores.

2. Do a spot treatment on your skin salicylic acid (don't do this too often).

3. Apply a moisturizer that is oil free.

4. Try to see a Dermatologist (if ance gets worse).

5. If you tend to have oily hair keep your hair our of your face because those oils can transfer to your pores.

6. DONT pick at your face. This can cause infections and leave dark spots or scars or discoloration to your skin.

7. Excerise as much as possiable. It will give your skin some fresh air and allow it to breathe. This can also help to clean out your pores.

Do you have a best friend who is always by your side? A friend you can tell all your secrets too? I believe that a friend is your walkin-talkin support system. They are the person who will never bring you down and lift you up when you need it. It  may take a while to find your best friend, some people are shy and need time to figure out your character. Others are more of a "risk taker" and jump into a friendship. Either way, friendships are the most important thing and I hope that you feel blessed to have such a wonderful person in your life. Herbal Essences Mini Review

I have been using Herbal Essences products for as long as I can remember! I always pick up a bottle of shampoo or conditioner from Target. Recently, Herbal Essecenes has came out with a few new products expanding on their merchandise. I tried out Herbal Essences Set Me Up Heat Protection Spray. I am very pleased with this product! It is the best heat protection spray I have ever used. I straighten my hair every other day so I am always looking for great products to help with my split ends and protect my hair from the heat. This products really does it! I aslo use their Totally Twisted Curling Boosting Mousse. All of thier products work amazingly and are VERY afforable.

You can get Herbal Essences products at your local drugstore, Target, Walmart, Kmart, and gocery stores (in the hair care section of course!). I would highly recomend ANY of Herbal Essences Products. Aboutley amazing!

I love this messy but girly hairstyle! It can be styled in so many different ways. I love how this look incorporates a braid and a messy bun. You can pull off this look on a lazy day or make it more formal with a headband or bow. I think it is super cute and shows style.

Hey its Sarah! I am going to do a review for the Maybelline New York Baby Lips. I was in Target looking for something to buy, so I asked Mackenzie to just pick something. She came to me and handed me this amazing chapstick. It helps smooth, hydrate, and improve your lips. This product comes in many clear and tinted shades. Mackenzie picked up the clear Peppermint.  I started using this every night before I went to bed and saw immediate results. This chapstick truly is amazing and I think you should give it a try!
