Earth Day!

I just want to take this time to encourage everyone to take care of our earth. Do something good for the Earth today whether you plant a garden, recycle old newspapers, pick up trash in your neighborhood, or buy a product that has no harsh chemicals or parabens. EVERYONE can make a difference. It doesn't matter your age or where you live YOU can do something to help the earth. Let's not make April 22nd Earth Day, let's make EVERYDAY earth day! Take a stand with me and pledge to do something good for the earth today! I hope I inspired some of you to make a difference.

Inspiration: Lauren Conrad

 I have been so inspired by Lauren Conrad lately. I absolutely love her natural makeup and her beautiful style.

Many of you might already know this but Lauren Conrad just released one of her new books "The Frame Game." I recently ordered two of Lauren Conrad's books on amazon. I can not wait to read them!

Lauren's style of clothing is so PRETTY! I wish I could dress like her. Lauren Conrad has a new line of Spring 2012 clothes available at Kohl's.

Lauren Conrad is probably most known for her adorable high top knot. I think this hairstyle is super stylish and so easy and quick to do! Definitely  something I will be doing this season!

Last but certainly not least I am loving Lauren Conrad's Style book! It is filled with the best fashion and beauty tips.

Beach Break!

These are some of my favorite beach essentials! I can't leave the house without them. Leave a comment below telling us what your favorite beach essential is!

1) Bathing Suits! 

Bathing suits come in so many different colors, patterns, and textures these days! I absolutely love this white and yellow striped bathing suit with the blue detailing on the straps. This bathing suit is perfect for the beach or the pool! 

2) Sunglasses! 

Don't forget to take your favorite pair of sunglasses with you to the beach! I really these leopard printed sunglasses. They are fun and girly! 

 3) Beach Bag!

I love this really fun beach bag! You can seriously get beach bags anywhere these days.The fun colors in this beach bag really makes me want to buy it. I love beach bags because you can literally put everything you need in a cute stylish bag!

4) Fun Sandals!

 

I love these graphic jelly sandals from Aeropostale! These sandals have a fun and colorful pattern which makes them perfect to show off at the beach! 

5) Make-up Bag! 

 

I love this fun and colorful make-up bag! Even if you don't wear make-up when you are at the beach (I don't) this bag still makes it perfect to put all of those odds and ends in. You can use this bag to store hair ties, bobby pins, sunblock, etc. This little pouch has a bold statement to it! 

6) Fun Floral Dress! 

 

I love dresses for the spring and summer! Espically this colorful floral halter dress from Aeropostale.The colors on this dress are super pretty! The color scheme makes it perfect for the long beach days! 

7) Colored Denim Shorts! 

 

I am loving colored denim shorts for the spring! They are so colorful, comfortable, and fun to wear. You could easily slip these denim shorts over your bathing suit or wear them with a fun T-shirt and cute shoes.So many different looks with these colored denim shorts! 

8) A fun T-Shirt! 

I think this is such a cute and fun T-shirt for the beach! The colors and style is super adorable! You will be sure to get many compliments!

DIY: 5-Strand Headbands!

I absolutely love these 5-Strand Headbands! They are so simple and easy to make. I will definitely be wearing these headbands for the spring and summer season. The best part is you can have a different headband for every outfit. All you need is an old T-shirt, scissors, needle, and thread. It is really that easy. Mini Review: Satin Care Shaving Cream

I use the Satin Care Shaving Cream in my shower everyday. This shaving cream is super moisturizing and is affordable. Each shaving cream is different for your different skin type. So you are guaranteed to find one that works for you. I personally like to use the Sensitive skin one because it prevents against nicks and cuts. When I have tried using other shaving creams they were too thick or gave me razor bumps. Using the Satin Care shaving cream has gave me my confidence back and my legs are smoother than ever before. I usually pick this product up at Target for around $2.50. I would highly suggest this shaving cream to anyone. This product has been a great addition to my shower.
